The Scar on my Hip

I have a large scar on my right hip. I am asked almost everyday about it.

When I was about 5 or so, I was still living in New York. Jimmy, my big brother, was a little baseball player back then. The family had went off to this one game that was on a Friday. All the cool kids, I thought, were rolling down this big hill next to the baseball fence. I decided to roll with them. Everything went fine. After the game, we went to Wendy's for dinner. Everything was normal.

The next day when I woke up, I went to get up out of bed. When I tried to stand up, I fell. Straight onto the floor. I tried 2 more times and they both failed. I then screamed because I was in so much pain and crawled to the staircase. I called for my mom and told her I couldn't walk. She was so freaked out. I feel bad for her now that I'm older, but anyways, she called the doctor. Of course the doctor said "Bring 'em in."

Later that day I got into the car (no idea how I managed to get down the stairs into the car. But I'm sure my mom carried me or something :P) and we were off to the doctor. When we left, we were off to the hospital. I had a rare disease on my hip. I don't recall the name but I'll try to think of it.

I had to stay in the hospital for a long time. I got surgery and that's how I got the scar.

More info:
I had to get 'nails' drilled into my hip so it would stay in place. When they drilled them out, One broke and to this day I have a half of a nail in my body.
